ANU Med Revue 2011: Harry Potter and the Department of Medical Mysteries SYNOPSIS: Harry Potter, Arts/Science graduate and aspiring medical student, comes to Canberra to join the famous Hogwards School of Medicine. Alongside his friends — the brash Ron, brilliant Hermione, dorky Neville, dreamy Luna and adoring Ginny — he buckles down to his studies in such subjects as Divinatory Genetics, Disfiguration, Care of Non-Medical Creatures and Defence Against Litigation. But all is not well at Hogwards: students with BA’s are being bullied by Medical Science graduates like the arrogant Draco; and good students are mysteriously failing exams for no apparent reason. Suspecting an institutional prejudice against Arts graduate students, Harry and his friends go searching for proof in the Department of Medical Mysteries deep in the bowels of The Canberra Hospital. Once there they discover a (not very) ancient prophecy, which foretells the coming of a Chosen One who will unite Arts graduates and Science graduates together in the practice of medicine, and realise that it can refer only to Harry!
